L. Erickson Hairties
These L. Erickson hair ties are seriously the best I’ve found for thick hair. They’re strong enough to hold a full ponytail or bun without snapping or stretching out over time. The elastic is gentle, so it doesn’t pull or snag, and they’re comfy enough to wear on your wrist all day without cutting off circulation. I love that they look like cute bracelets—perfect for throwing your hair up on the go. Whether I’m at the beach or heading to work, they hold up and look good.

Travel Backpack
This is my go-to personal item when flying—it fits perfectly under the seat and keeps everything within reach. There’s a dedicated spot for my water bottle and tons of easy-access pockets that make grabbing what I need mid-flight super convenient. I also use it as an overnight bag when dog-sitting—the interior straps clip over clothes to keep everything in place. Carry like a backpack, duffle bag, or on your rolling luggage with the strap. With a padded laptop compartment, charging port, and included toiletry bags, it’s a versatile travel essential that works for any short trip or flight.

Full Face Snorkel Mask
Matt and I have taken this full face snorkel mask everywhere—from the reefs of Mexico to the turquoise waters of Curaçao and even Biscayne National Park. It’s super easy to use, doesn’t fog up, and makes snorkeling way more comfortable. No jaw fatigue, no leaking, just clear views and natural breathing through your nose or mouth. If you’re planning a beach trip or island adventure, this is a game-changer. Can’t wait to take it on our next underwater adventure!

I love these Cake Non-Adhesive Silicone Nipple Covers! As a 32D, these don’t provide support, but they do a great job covering visible nipples when wearing a bra isn’t an option—like with strapless, backless, or tricky-cut tops and dresses.
They’re made of hypoallergenic medical-grade silicone and don’t use any sticky glue, so they don’t itch like other brands that use adhesives. Instead, they use body heat to stay put, which works well for me even with form-fitting clothes. You can reuse them up to 30 times, and they’re easy to wash.
I’ve used mine for over a year and am just now buying my second order—they really do last that long! Compared to brand-name nipple covers, these are more affordable but work just as well. The compact tin case they come in is a huge plus—it’s slim and travel-friendly. (Side note: I’ve had issues with other brands’ cases that, when wet, leave a black residue on hands and clothes—a total mess. This tin avoids that problem.)
The beige color closely matches my natural skin tone, making them perfect for weddings, formal events, or everyday wear when you want a smooth, no-show look.

Stand Up Paddle Board
Matt and I have taken this paddle board to both Conneaut Lake and Lake Anna, and it’s been the perfect companion for lake days. The Feath-R-Lite Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is super easy to travel with—it deflates quickly and fits right in the back of our car, no roof rack needed!
Despite being inflatable, it’s made from military-grade PVC, so it’s extremely durable and firm, giving the feel of a solid board while staying lightweight and easy to carry. The wide 32″ deck and non-slip EVA pad offer excellent stability, and the triple-fin system helps it glide smoothly and track straight, even in choppier water.

Plastic Champagne Flutes
We bought the 36 Pack Gold Glitter Plastic Champagne Flutes (7oz) to reuse across our different wedding celebrations—and they’ve been such a smart and festive choice. The gold glitter design (they come in other colors!) adds a fun, celebratory vibe, and because they’re plastic, they’re safe to use by the pool or at the lake, where glass isn’t allowed or ideal.
They’ve been easy to pack, store, and transport to each event, and we’ve loved having them on hand for a champagne toast at every celebration. Even though they’re technically disposable, they’re sturdy enough to reuse several times—perfect for couples planning multiple wedding weekends or anyone hosting a series of parties.
That said, a few have cracked, and the snap-on bases don’t always stay put if bumped. But for the price, they’re a great value. We’ve been able to stack the pieces for condensed travel storage and transport them where glass would’ve been too risky or bulky. Overall, we’re really happy we picked these!
