We booked 2 short term rentals for our wedding celebration on Lake Anna. Both spaces were incredible! The cost of a wedding venue for 1 day, vs 2 Lake houses for 4 days, was a no-brainer.
The boat houses were the best part. The houses were cookie cutters of each other. Nearly every bedroom has their own bedroom, minus the basement which has an extra room with bunks. Outside lawn games stashed in the garage. Kayaks and paddle boards. Floats. Arcade games, video games, ping-pong, shuffle board, and more in the basements.

This house was everything we hoped for and more! Located right on the water, it offered beautiful views and easy access for kayaking and stand-up paddle-boarding, which were provided and so much fun to use.
Every bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made the stay extra comfortable for our group. We especially loved the bonus bunk room and the basement packed with games – it was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The house was clean, spacious, and clearly designed with groups in mind.
It was the perfect home base for our Lake Anna weekend, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!
